I am retired teacher and missionary. I live in five bed rooms house, located north end, Tyndale Park and meadows west area.Garden City a big shopping Center is 20 Minutes by Bus Only 5 minutes walk to the bus stop. Quite and safe neighbor hood. -I provide an English- speaking environment. - Provide a separate bedroom for the guest which includes a comfortable bed ( linens, a pillow, and blankets), a closet, a dresser, a desk, a lamp, a mirror, towels and all other necessities. The guest will be welcomed to use of the household, such as have access to high speed internet, living room, etc - Provide suitable laundry facilities,( washer, dryer, detergent) and cleaning supplies for the guest to keep their own bedroom clean( vacuum, duster,etc) - Orient the guest to Winnipeg and to the host family's neighborhood. Familiarize the guest with bus routes to downtown, The University of Winnipeg, Red River Campus, Library, Garden City Shopping Mall, Restaurants, Health food stores, Churches, Etc. - Assist the guest to set up a bank account. - help the guest to feel at home in the home. - Will assist the guest's adjustment to Canada and encourage them to learn about Canada and encourage the student to learn about Canadian culture, lifestyle, and family life. - I had been traveling in many countries and had enjoyed different culture and different way of cooking. Now looking forward to meet some different people from different countries again and learn something new from them. - The guest will be picked up at the Winnipeg Airport, or train Station and arrange for transportation upon their departure.

You should keep the home secure and lock the side door when entering and leaving the house. You must not adjust the heat setting yourself,ask me and I will happily do it for you. Feel free to use the kitchen and please clean up after. Keep noise to a minimum after 11 PM please.
