Warm-hearted mature female offering a comfortable twin room or single room to non-smoking visitors in a nicely presented house. Every comfort available. I have a small dog who is house trained and very friendly and clean. I welcome people of all nationalities and you will be made to feel very welcome. Fortunately, we are very close to the Centre and have a choice of buses and trains very close to the home. For visitors who care to smoking is permitted in the back garden. Please note I have a twin bedded room that sleep 2 (or 3 with mattress) and it is adjacent to the bathroom. Twin/Triple room has own fridge/microwave /kettle/toaster. Single room sleeps 1 has wide screen TV free WIFI and radio.
Guests should listen to T.V and music at reasonable levels and should close doors quietly when coming in and out of the home and bedroom. All lights should be turned off in bedroom when guest is sleeping. Bedroom doors tend to be very loud and should not be left to slam closed. Always close gently. Rooms should be left in a clean tidy state and please do not leave food outside of fridge in your room as this will attract vermin? The bathroom should be left clean, especially bath should be cleaned after each shower. Showers only no baths! Keys should be looked after as a charge will be made if lost. Guests should not bring additional people into the house unless they are given permission by host. No overnight friends to stay unless agreed by host, and a charge will be made of £20 p.n. Once booking is confirmed kindly pay 50% of your fee to me (via cash or bank transfer) on arrival. Arrangements must be agreed with host if guest wishes to pay monthly. Details of where to pay will be issued once a booking is confirmed. Use of kitchen Hob is limited and can only be used on strict permission by host and at certain times, so it does not clash with host. Kitchen should not be used after 7.30pm at night and strictly no use of kitchen in the morning except to leave dirty washing. Machine can only be used between 8am - 9.30am. No use of oven but there is a microwave which does everything an oven does. Clean Hob after use please, and wash dishes immediately after use also provide washing up liquid and detergent for washing clothes and bath. Also, contribute a weekly toilet roll. It is expected that students who are off from Uni or work placement should study in our local library as GCH is turned off for some hours during the day and this also applies to weekends and throughout sleeping hours. A contribution is made towards energy usually £15 per week paid in cash. Washing machine can be used once a week - bag handed to host who will put into washing machine. Any additional washing can be done at the local Laundromat. All guests will receive a warm welcome but rules must be adhered to. P.S: Strictly, No smoking of cigarettes/drugs or drinking of alcohol in the home. On arrival details of home address and a copy of passport is essential - hand directly to host !Thanks. Check-in time 5:00 pm Check out time 10:00 am PAYMENT POLICY Please note that we require our guests to pay 50% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% service fee is paid to Homestay.com) - by bank transfer. Once you confirm your booking, we will send you our bank details by email. CANCELLATION POLICY We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.”
