A nice, modern transit homestay
Ambala CityINR 40,000.00/month
Our home is located in the heart of Ambala City with a population of around 200,000. It is a relatively small town by Indian standards in the northern part of India. The main railway station and Bus stop are 8Km from our home. The nearest international airport is 45Km away in Chandigarh. New Delhi, the capital of our country is 200Km South of Ambala. We are a couple living here for the last 25 years. The wife is a physiotherapist and the husband runs a foundry business. Our parents live with us on the ground floor. The rooms offered for stay are on the first floor where we live. Our home is modern and homely. The bedroom is large with an attached bathroom and shower. It has a nice balcony and a fireplace in the lobby just outside the bedroom. A TV is also available in the lobby. A major attraction of our home is a terrace garden where you can sit and relax. A servant is available to take care of daily needs like laundry, cleaning, cooking etc. Market is close by for most of your needs including banks, ATM, etc. Both of us are fond of reading so we have a small cupboard in the lobby full of books. I am sure there will certainly be some to kindle your interest. As of December 2015, our son is studying Creative Writing in Omaha, Nebraska, USA and daughter has got admitted in Knox College, IL, USA. We speak Hindi and English at home. Very frankly, Ambala is not a tourist place, and nothing much to see around. It is good for: 1. People who want to experience an Indian small town living 2. If you have an interest in interacting with people 3. The Himalayas are a few hours away and our homestay can be used as a transit accomodation
