My name is Ber and both my husband and I are retired from work. We like to welcome students to our home. We like to keep busy, we look after one little granddaughter every Monday and another little one on another day. We have 2 dogs, they live outside and don’t come in the house. Our house is a 4-bed semi-detached family home, with WiFi available throughout. The room we have available is very comfortable. This is a nice bright double room with a very comfortable double bed, wardrobe, drawers, mirror and heating. There are 2 shared bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences and appliances. There is a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and microwave in the utility room. We have a dual heating system with oil central heating and also a stove which provides heat to the whole house. There is outdoor seating in our back garden which is a great place to chill out on a nice summer’s day.

As it is your fully private room, you will be responsible for this and expected to keep your room clean and tidy at all times. Leave all areas, especially communal spaces in the way you found them. Can ​I bring a visitor into the home? No, it is important to know that for the comfort of all occupants, it is strictly not allowed for you to bring anyone at any time into the house. What are the rules ​for the use of the kitchen? As you will have full access to the kitchen as well as all the necessary utensils to prepare your own breakfast, lunch and diner, all what you are expected to do is clean your dishes immediately after your meals and leave the kitchen clean, in the same state as you found it! For the comfort of everyone in the household, cooking will be restricted to certain hours of the day; but you will have sufficient access to cook and eat your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, you will still have access to the kitchen outside of the cooking hours, to access the fridge or to prepare yourself a sandwich etc. There is a low noise policy at night,you are expected to not make noise from 8pm to 8am.
