Welcome to your home away from home on our beautiful, quiet hillside in the country, near downtown Ithaca, Cornell, Ithaca College, lakes, waterfalls, parks, wineries, farmers market, and more. Eco-conscious, solar-powered home. Sunny private suite: two beautiful rooms with ash wood paneling made from trees on our land, cork flooring, lots of natural light, and pastel paintings by your host, Suzy; private bathroom. Smoke-free property, indoors and out. Hearty breakfast made with mostly local and organic ingredients, including eggs from our hens. Trails (walk, run, ski, snowshoe) and ponds (swim, skate) on the property. Sunsets! We are a family of four: myself, my husband, and our two teenage/young adult daughters. Artists, musicians, dancers, students, and nature lovers. We celebrate diversity and welcome guests of all backgrounds with kindness and respect. The guest suite is a cat-free space, but we do have two cats that use other parts of the house, so, if you have severe cat allergies, it might not work for you.

~ No smoking anywhere on the premises, indoors or out. ~ No guest pets. We are sorry but we cannot accommodate assistance/service animals either because of our own animals. ~ No parties or events. ~ We are a family with two kids. Please be very quiet in the evenings and early mornings. ~ Please be extremely cautious of animals in the driveway, especially our dog, who may not get out of the way of your car. ~ Please leave shoes in the foyer. ~ Please hang all towels in the bathroom, not in the suite. ~ Please close windows before going out or going to sleep if there is any chance of rain. ~ If water or any liquid spills on the floor, please wipe it up immediately or ask us for help. The cork floor can be easily damaged by liquids. ~ Children should not be allowed near the two ponds without our permission and explanation of pond rules. All guests should check with us first if you'd like to swim or skate. ~ Thank you for respecting our home and our rules, and please enjoy your stay!
