My hosting journey began in 2010 when I participated in the Couchsurfing project, both offering a room to travelers and staying with hosts myself. We have a beautiful room 11.5 sq.m. available for rent, close to all the great amenities Gatineau-Ottawa has to offer! The room is located just 6 km from downtown Ottawa, within easy reach of grocery stores, a hospital, a lake and a forest. Enjoy the convenience of having all these great amenities close by and the tranquility of a peaceful neighborhood. My place is close to bus stop of the transport company sto.ca. All utilities, unlimited internet, and laundry facilities are included in the price. Tenants must not burn candles, burn incense, or use fragranced products in the apartment, as it must remain fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. Smoking is not allowed. Fragrance-Free & Hypoallergenic: No candles, incense, or scented products are permitted within the apartment. The apartment must be maintained as a fragrance-free and hypoallergenic environment. Personal Supplies: Tenants are responsible for providing their own shampoo, soap, and toilet paper. Cleaning Supplies: For washing machine and dishwasher detergent, Biovert is recommended. Security deposit. Here's what it typically covers: Damage to the rental unit: This includes things like damage to walls, floors, appliances, and fixtures caused by the tenant or their guests. Unpaid rent: If the tenant fails to pay rent, the landlord can use the security deposit to cover the outstanding amount. Cleaning costs: If the tenant leaves the unit excessively dirty, the landlord can use the deposit to cover professional cleaning costs.
