What I offer: Private Rooms: Two large, private visitor rooms each with its own bathroom, located in a spacious 1920s colonial-era home. For backpackers looking for a small basic private room for a few days with a shared bathroom upstairs, I carved out a separate space in the back. Prime Location: Situated on a wide pedestrian street in the heart of Centro Histórico, my neighborhood is safe, walkable, and authentically Guadalajara. Enjoy easy access to gyms, cafes, taco stands, Mercado Acalde, vibrant bars, clubs, and cultural hotspots. The Chapultepec bar area is just a short 3km Didi/Uber ride away. Convenience: Fast WiFi throughout, a separated office space, modern kitchen, laundry facilities, and outdoor areas including a multi-level roof with terraces, BBQ, and yoga space. A new mini pool is available spring and summer. Skyline views and Instagram-worthy sunsets can be enjoyed from the mirador. Comfort: Rooms are equipped with mosquito curtains, fans, and good cross ventilation, keeping you comfortable without the need for air conditioning. Our guests typically stay 1-2 weeks to fully immerse themselves in the city. If you’re looking for a place where you can both get work done and enjoy everything Guadalajara has to offer, this is the perfect choice. This is my personal home, which I occasionally open to those looking for a unique way to experience and integrate into Guadalajara. Since 2022, I’ve hosted around 35 volunteers, international travelers, and invited guests. 1 Stay Connected: Frequent communication and mutually respecting privacy of others, especially in shared spaces and during work hours is key to a great stay. Let’s keep the lines open! 2. Smoking: Feel free to smoke outside or on the azotea (roof). 3. Substances: No marijuana or other illegal drugs are allowed on the property. 4. Work Zone Quiet Hours: Generally 9am to 4pm. These can be adjusted 5. Relaxation Zone Quiet hours - Generally 11pm to 7am so everyone can get a good night's rest. 6. Security: For everyone’s safety, no outside guests are allowed on the premises without advance notice. 7. Cleanliness: Keep the place tidy and organized. Please wash your own dishes and leave common areas as you found them. 8. Conservation: We use solar hot water, so please be mindful of hot water usage. Help us conserve electricity as well. 9. Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance issues promptly so we can keep everything in top shape for everyone. 10.
