My house is located close to a great shoppings center, The StoneBriar Mall and The Shops of Legacy;you will find a variety of restaurants and entertainment venues. It is also, accessible to two mayors HWY: " HWY 121, and Dallas North Tollway ." We are 22 miles from downtown Dallas and 25 miles from the DFW Airport. I'm a semi-retired College professor, my only son has already left the nest. I love to travel and learn about other cultures, this is why I'm doing Homestay because now that I don't travel so often, people from all over the world can come to my house and bring the riches of the world to me. I have a permanent roommate, his name is Brian, he is in his 40's, he works for a bank downtown Dallas, He is very respectful and friendly, he also keeps the bathroom, that will be share with the guests very clean. The bedroom is located upstairs and has a queen size bed, a desk, 42'TV with cable, a window with a view to the pool and a double closet. One of the living rooms(with a big TV), the kitchen, the laundry room, the pool is available to the guest. The guest can park anywhere in the street (this is a very safe neighborhood). My gym Lifetime Fitness is located about 6 blocks away, if the guest would like to use it, I will be happy to supply a day pass. We primarily speak English in the house but I also speak Spanish and little bit of french. For public transportation you can take the bus, 5 blocks a way. This bus can also take you to the train station, which is a faster transportation to get to other towns or Dallas (day pass $5). The grocery store and restaurants are somewhat walking distance. We are available as much as our schedules permitted. Feel free to ask us for any information that you might need, it will not be a bother.

Check in by 2:00 p.m or after and check out must be by noon. I will greatly appreciated, If you use anything in the kitchen please leave it how and where you found it(except the dishes, just rinse them and put them in the dishwasher, when is full, I will take care of it). You will be giving a key and a garage opener(The Garage parking is only for the room with a private bathroom), when you receive the key of the house you are free to come in and out as you need, as long as you keep quiet when we are sleeping. It is not permitted for the guest to come into the house intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or to bring extra guests to spend the night. I will appreciate to respect us and my house as you will be respected. Bringing extra guests other than the ones in the reservation is not acceptable. Please make sure that the garage door is close before you leave, also make sure that the inside garage door is complete shut when you are coming in or going out, and don't leave it open even if you are going to the car for a minute (the moth, mosquitoes and flies will come in), the same rules apply to the patio or front doors. If you forget to leave the garage opener and the key when you checkout, there will be a charge for $48 dollars. Do not store things in the garage or other parts of the house without asking, there is plenty room in your bedroom. I will appreciate if you only use the bathroom assigned to your room. . If you keep alcohol in the house please keep it in your room (I don't have room in the refrigerator for that, thank you). If you smoke please keep at least 10 feet away from the outside doors (best place is by the pool at the north side). If you are staying for a long stay I will assign some room in the refrigerator and pantry, just respect others space. In my experience with my guests, I have found out that by being very clear with my boundaries and rules of the house, we can have a great experience, if you have any questions or something is not very clear, please let me know.
