We love to share our space with students and travelers. We lived in the home and shared our space with guests. - 15 minute bus to Finch subway -5 mins to bus stop - To York University - By bus is 20 mins - 30-minute drive to downtown Toronto. - Near supermarkets and small eateries. -Many guests extended their stays and came back again. WHAT WE PROVIDE: We offer free WiFi to our guests and laundry. Our house will be stocked with most of what you need for your stay. Bring your clothes and your toiletries, and just about anything else you need will be here! Items we provide include: All bedding (linens, blankets, pillows) Iron, Ironing board, Towels, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body soap, Hand soap, Hair dryer FOOD: Food is NOT included. KITCHEN USE: You are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare your food. We will give a designated place for you to keep your stuff. Our kitchen comes fully equipped with the basics to cook and enjoy most meals. This includes: Salt and pepper, Pots and pans, Glasses, Mugs, Silverware, Dishes, Kettle, Toaster We also provide a starter supply of the following items: Laundry machines, Laundry detergent, Dishwasher detergent, Toilet paper, Paper towels, Trash bags. HEATING AND COOLING: Heating: We have central heating throughout the house. If your room is cold we can provide an extra portable heater. Please note that we require our guests to pay 25% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% service fee paid to Homestay.com). We accept Paypal, Wise or direct deposits. Check-out time: 11 AM (yes, you can leave your luggage till the evening if necessary) Check-in: after 3 PM (if you arrive earlier - let us know, we may be able to check you in before if the room is free)

We accept Paypal, Wise or direct deposits. Cancellation Policy We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded. Entry - Take off your shoes when you enter the house. Common areas - Common areas include the kitchen/living room and shower in the basement, as well as a bathroom on the main floor, which is shared with the host and guests. Additionally, the laundry facilities and hallways are accessible to both guests and the host. The kitchen and basement shower are exclusively shared among 2 guests. - Keep the common areas clean. - Don’t leave any unwashed dishes or food in the kitchen or common areas. - Do not leave clothes in the washer, dryer or laundry room. - Separate garbage from compost and recycling. - Because the kitchen is shared with other guests we ask not to cook highly aromatic foods (e.g. fried fish, seafood, curries). - As a courtesy to other guests, please limit your time in the shower to 30 min. Pick up hair after yourself, including the floor and hair catcher in the bathtub, don’t flush it down the drain. - A professional cleaner comes once a week to clean the common areas but you are responsible for the cleanliness of your room. Quiet time - Quiet time is between 11 pm and 9 am on weekdays and 1 am and 10 am on Fridays/Saturdays or Holidays. During quiet time there should be no music, loud conversation, or other noise that may disturb the other occupants of the house. - No cooking is allowed after 11 pm. Storage - Please only use only fridge space and kitchen/bathroom storage assigned to you. You may not leave your personal belongings in the common areas except for in designated storage areas. If you need more space, please talk to the hosts first. Fire safety - No smoking of any substance including vape or e-cigarettes in the house. If you smoke outside, you must use the ashtray provided - No candles, incense or any other source of combustion. Security - The outside doors must remain locked at all times. - The room is equipped with a lock, and the premises will remain locked at all times. The host is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal items. - No guests are allowed. - Host is allowed to enter the room only with permission or in case of emergency. SMOKING RULES Your host is a non-smoker. Smoking is not allowed.
