Homestay Rules and Guidelines 1. General Conduct Treat the host family and other guests with respect. Follow the household rules and respect cultural differences. Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude. 2. Cleanliness & Hygiene Keep your room clean and tidy at all times. Clean up after yourself in common areas (kitchen, bathroom, living room). Do not leave dirty dishes in the sink. Dispose of trash properly and follow recycling 4. Noise & Curfew Keep noise levels down, especially at night. Respect any curfew set by the host 6. Bathroom Use Keep the bathroom clean and dry after 7. Laundry & Personal Items Ask about laundry arrangements 8. Safety & Security Lock doors and windows when leaving the house. Do not share house keys or security codes with outsiders. Inform the host if you plan to be away overnight or return late. 9. Turn off lights, fans, and electronic devices when not in use. 10. Smoking, Alcohol & Drugs Smoking, alcohol, or drug is prohibited—always check with the host family. If permitted, follow designated areas and times for smoking or drinking. 11. Conflict Resolution Address any issues respectfully with the host family. If problems persist, inform the homestay coordinator or agency.
