The apartment is one large open space and is accessed by 16 steps from ground-level. Your modern toilet/bathroom and separate laundry is located at ground level, inside the garage. The property is situated in the remote rural / bush area of Koppio, on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula, which features rolling hills, native bush, farmland, wooded river flats, wild olive groves and is across the road from the Koppio Smithy National Trust Museum. The 3 acre property and area is a nature lover's paradise. Wander the park-like grounds, adjacent river flats and country lanes and encounter an unusual number of native bird species and local wildlife. Visit the Koppio Museum, the nearby "Rose Garden" and the Tod River Reservoir Reserve. Drive to numerous surrounding beaches and fishing spots as well as our regional city, Port Lincoln, which is 35 kms to the south-east, ( a 30 minute drive.) The last 10 kms. of road from any direction is gravel, ( not sealed.) There is a large, deep. fenced pond and waterfall on the property, ( refer photos.) Your host, Alan, is a nature loving, sports mad, outdoor enthusiast who will ensure your stay is a comfortable, sociable, adventurous experience.
We dont lock doors out here, ( but you can lock yours!) No smoking - we are in a high fire risk area for 8 months of the year. No pets. Own transport is essential. Please don't bring strangers home with you
