Come and stay in a bedroom in my 125 year old house, in a quiet street off Mill Road. Near by is a fantastic selection of Cafes Take Away's, Restaurants and Shops, it is also close to the Train Station and buses to University sites and Science Parks. I have 2 double and 1 single bedroom, and a "SMALL AREA " for guest to use to reheat food and do" light cooking ". I will wash your dishes in "MY KITCHEN " which is in my private part of the house. I have hosted guests in my house for 33 years and had over 3200 people stay with me from all over the world. I work from home so I am only accepting guest that will be out of the house Monday to Friday approx 9 am to 5 pm. I am kind considerate warm and friendly and if you are if you are kind and considrate too and are planing to be out during the day, please get in touch.

Sorry but all rules are because of problems I have had in the past. I hate telling people what to do but this is my home and I have to protect it and the comfort of other guests. There are very valid reasons for all of these rules. 1. Females only 2. Only for guests who will be out from aprox 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. 3. Guests are on different time zones when they arrive, so that we all get to relax and sleep. The house needs to go quiet after 9. 30 so….. 4. No showers, hairdryers, Microwaves, kettles etc, no loud phone calls, loud TV or music between 9.30 pm and 7 am 5. No smokers or more than moderate drinking of alcohol 6. No hard soap to be used in the bathroom or washing laundry both block the drains and damage my property I will be able to tell you have done this so please do not as it causes me big problems. 7. No dishes to washed in the bathroom or food put down the drains. 8. Please remove hair from plug holes and clean the bath or wash basin after use. 9. Always put the light on in the bathroom it brings the fan on and stops mould. 10. Keep the shower curtain inside the bath at all times. 11. Light cooking and reheating only. Not suitable for foods with a strong smell like fish curry or eggs or meat cooked from raw. This causes problems for other guests. 12. All belongings, food, toiletries, towels clothes, shoes etc. to be kept in your room. 13. Sorry you must not register my home as your postal address. 14. Do not open windows in cold weather. 15. Use the door code to open and close the front door so it doesn’t need to slam and disturb my neighbours or other guests. 16. Sorry no vistors allowed in the house. 17. ALWAYS SHUT THE WINDOWS AND LOCK THE DOOR WHEN YOU LEAVE
