It is attached to the main house with a common wall separating it from our home. Clean, tastefully decorated space includes bedroom with queen bed, bathroom and entryway. Large covered pergola and swimming pool are just steps from your guest suite door. Guest access Feel free to take a dip in our pool or use our outdoor dining room - many of our guests enjoy their morning coffee and breakfast there. We have a couple of kayaks and a stand-up paddle board and you are welcome to take them out on our lake - just watch out for the baby alligator we share it with! Don't be scared of him. We'll introduce you. :) Interaction with guests We are available via text or email. You can also just walk over and knock on the main door of the house. When the weather is nice, you can find us at the pool - feel free to sit down with us and have a drink. We are here if you need us, but we also respect your privacy. Other things to note The kitchenette in the room includes a mini fridge, microwave, coffee-maker. (Sink in bathroom.) There is an outdoor kitchen available with grill and spacious food preparation area. Use of outdoor kitchen is provided for an additional charge. From the months of June through September we offer this guest suite at a substantially discounted monthly rate. We include use of the outdoor kitchen in the rate for a month or more.

This means no smoking in our back yard, on our deck or on our dock. No fishing in our lake. The room and outdoor areas are for registered guests only. For liability reasons, guests may not bring any visitors or any others to our home at any time, for any length of time. Only those individuals who are registered guests may enter the premises. That said, we do have an optional agreement for you to invite friends or family to the pool and lake area (up to 4 additional adults - no children) for an additional fee ($100 per day). Please ask for details if you are interested. There is an outdoor kitchen on the premises with a grill and optional stove but it is not included in the price of the booking. If you would like to use this additional area there is an additional $25 fee per stay to cover cleaning, maintenance and propane. This is a shared outdoor kitchen and must be cleaned after each use. This property is appropriate for babies who don't walk yet and also older children, but it is not appropriate for toddlers. Please let me know if you will be travelling with a child and also include their age.
