Stay in the heart of Havana. The typical Cuban town house in colonial style with the furniture and decoration of the same style and columns and walls of more than 5m height do provide a pleasant interior climate. It has a spacious living and dining room where you can either enjoy a Cuban cup of coffee or read one of the books on our book shelf. For those who prefer to relax under the blue sky may take a place in our "green" patio above the Caribbean sun. When the weather is fine, breakfast is served on the patio, if not in our dining room. (No light breakfast included in room price; a Cuban breakfast is available with the extra cost of 8 EUR per person per night paid on site in cash in EUR or USD in our house: Cup of coffee or tea, bread, butter, jam and eggs made of your choice, homemade fruit juice. Optional: ham and cheese.) The whole private house is situated on the ground floor so you can easily reach the place without climbing any stairs (beside the 2 small steps of the front door). The 3 cozy air-conditioned rooms are each equipped with mattresses made in Germany, air-conditioning (split), fan, a private bath room with a shower of cold and warm water, a double bed (2 rooms: 1.60 x 2 m, 1 room: 1.80 x 2 m and an extra personal bed 90 cm x 2 m, according to availability), as well as a minibar and safe in order to store valuable items. Bed linen, towels and liquid hand soap are included in the room price (there are no towels for the beach provided). A 3rd person will have to pay for the use of an additional bed in (just possible in Room 2) 5 EUR or USD extra paid on site. The entire property is situated on the ground floor with easy access; that's why the complete house as well as the rooms are accessible with a wheel chair and suitable for persons of reduced mobility - a part of 2 small steps in the front door. Please note that the bathroom rooms themselves and the doors of the bathrooms are too small for wheel chairs. And we do not have any equipment or facilities for the handicapped visitors. We are a Cuban-German couple. Jorge has been living for more than 17 years in Germany and is able to speak quite well German and a little English. He will also help you during day-time to answer all your questions about your visit to Cuba and especially regarding Havana. With him you can also reserve additional services which you might want to book. Wiebke (fondly called “Wiki” by the Cubans) will come home after work in the evening. Check-in: 2 p.m. Check-out: 11 a.m. Late check-out after 11 a.m. it is just possible on request on site as it depends on the client who would check-in afterwards the same day. We can inform you in the late afternoon one day before if it would be possible. An if you like to eat before 2 p.m. of course you can alos come to our house and depending if the clients staying before you in that room left with time before and we had time to already prepare your room you can get in earlier or just leave your luggage with us and wait a little bit until we cleaned and managed the room for you :) But without any luggage you can leave your house in our house and also stay here outside of your room after check-out if you will leave later. There is also the possibility of taking a shower before leaving in an additional bathroom we do have in the patio. If you would like to keep luggage on traveling to the other provinces with a lighter we can keep your suitcases in a safe room for your until you came back to Havana for a supplement price of 5 EUR or USD per person. But we want to inform you that we do not have the same circumstances of the connection in Cuba as usual in other places in the world because of a much slower speed and bad availability of the internet. There's no possibility of checking the e-mails at home, that's why we do have to go to public parks in order to respond. We for your understanding if we do not answer as quickly as expected.

In dependence on the other client who booked the room one day before or after your visit we can arrange other times for you without any extra cost. 01. Show the owner of the house your passport and your visa to register you in the owner's registration book. 02. Non-paying guests are not allowed to enter the guest room for own safety reasons. 03. Don't make loud noise that could disturb the neighbors after 11 pm. 04. Please don't close the doors abruptly and never leave the entrance door open. 05. Turn off the lights, the fan and the air condition when you leave your room. When you turn the air condition on, all doors of the room need to be closed completely. 06. Smoking is just permitted in the patio, not in the rooms or in the rest of the house. 07. Animals are not allowed to bring with you to the house. 08. If you loose your keys, we have to charge you 15 EUR or USD. 09. If you break, burn or stain something, we ask you kindly to replace it. 10. You are not allowed to get to the house under the effects of drugs (illegal in Cuba). 11. Guests do not have access to our kitchen to prepare themselves any kind of food. We love to serve you some drinks, coffee and small snacks if you want to order something but there are also a lot of nice bars and restaurants just near our house affordable for all budgets.
