The neighborhood is in a diverse community people from around the world. I used to teach Spanish now I manage my property. I like to travel around. I like to exercise. My kids grew up here but now my son is in Boston. My daughter is in Los Angeles. This is a multicultural, multilingual home. I have guests from The US and different countries of the world. I have been living in Philadelphia and in my current neighborhood for 25 years. I enjoy hosting guests. I mostly host students and professionals and I can offer ways to get around the city and good tips on where to eat. A number of our guests stayed with us while attending UPenn, Drexel, U. of Saint Josephs and Temple University.

Please free to hang out on the first floor living room. You are welcome to relax in the sofa on the front porch (no feet on couch) or at the picnic table in the back patio. The kitchen is shared. You have access to the kitchen but ALWAYS clean after yourself and that means wash, dry and put away your dishes and pots and anything that you have used. Take out the trash once is full to the front of the house and put it in the tin can. Recycles (cardboard, cans, plastic) go in the blue bin utside. No cooking after 10:00 pm No shoes in the house. You can take them to your room and leave slippers in the entrance if you wish. Rooms are for one person only. You can have a guest overnight 3 free nights a month. $15 fee after the 3rd night and not longer than a total of 8 nights in a month. There is an optional charge of $50 a month for an air conditioning unit. If you stay less than a month is $3 a day.
