The Space is a completely private attached guest suite in a 1907 shot-gun house and has a private entrance through the garden. The suite is about 300 square feet and is equipped with a stocked kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, and toaster oven. It has an ensuite full bathroom with an old clawfoot tub. The room is full of light but each door and window has louvered shutters so that the room can be darkened. The room has a very comfortable king-size bed and is also equipped with a wall-mount tv that you can log into your streaming service. There is a small closet and a table that can double as a desk. There is an Eames lounge chair and two cane-backed chairs. There is also a shared laundry room on-site. The pool is a 40' long lap pool with two narrow lanes and is salt-water. There is also a jacuzzi. Holy Cross Guest Suite with a salt water lap pool, jacuzzi, and garden; it's just a block-and-a-half from the Mississippi River levee park with best sunset views of New Orleans. Sit on the wrap around porch in a rocking chair and look out over the pool. Or enjoy the a/c or heat and high speed wifi (500Mbps) to get your work done. Relax in an Eames lounge chair and catch up on your reading. Take a jog along the river or do laps to stay in shape. The perfect getaway or remote work spot.

The fire extinguisher is in the kitchen on the shelf near the microwave. In case of fire exit via the French doors and make your way to the front of the building Taxi Service United Cab: 504-522-9771 Guest Suite Rules - No parties - You may have guests every now and then, but you cannot have someone else move in with you without host approval. - No smoking inside - BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE SHUTTERS they are delicate! Make sure to open and close with the handle, and never by grabbing onto any of the louvers. If you break it, you pay, and it will be very expensive to fix! There is a latch at the bottom of the fixed shutter. Never force open! Laundry Room - Laundry room is located on the porch and through the set of French doors proceeding your own. - The washer is a High Efficiency machine, and it is not necessary to put an entire cap full of soap. Please follow soap instructions and do not fill past the designated line. - Before using the dryer, MAKE SURE TO EMPTY THE LINT TRAP. - MOP BUCKET AND VACUUM CLEANER located in the Laundry room; please return them to their place when you’re done. Pool & jacuzzi - no glass near the pool or jacuzzi - No food or drinks while inside either - Turn off all pool functions when not in use - Do not leave the heat on either the pool or the jacuzzi at night time - DO NOT heat pool from December until March - DO NOT heat pool above 82 degrees - You may turn on the heater early in the day to preheat, but DO NOT heat pool or jacuzzi overnight - Turn off all pool functions after you are finished using - Please leave remote on one of the outside chair for others to easily find it - No pets inside the pool. - PLEASE SHOWER FIRST, especially if you have any creams, bug spray, etc on your body Garden - Please try not to walk on the grass - Please no pets off leash in the garden The Neighborhood - Please be safe! The Holy Cross neighborhood can appear deceptively safe; but nowhere in New Orleans is safe from crime. It’s best not to walk alone at night: take a cab, Uber, or Lyft. If you must walk home at night, be aware of your surroundings: stick to well-lit busy streets; walk in the middle of the street, instead of the sidewalk; watch out for dark figures lurking in the shadows.
