Johnson's opened to guests more than 17 years ago, and is among the first genuine homestays in Kerala. We have 5 ensuite rooms. Two are aircon, and three have bathtubs - in the balcony /terrace. A feature of our rooms are the spacious balconies. We also provide backwater tours (houseboat, canoeing), assist in providing bikes for rent, have an inhouse beautician for ladies, provide in-house dining, etc. But most importantly, since Alleppey is world renowned for it's breathtaking, scenic backwaters, we also have our own houseboat and organize canoeing trips as well. There is an ayurveda parlour one minute walk from the homestay. We are ideally located in a relatively quiet area between town centre and the beach. We, my wife and I, our world famous horse--Ria :-) live on the property. We have our own space downstairs. The guest rooms are upstairs, seperate and with seperate entrances as well. We offer our guests a light breakfast of toast (4 pieces), butter, jam and tea, free of cost.
