My 9 year old son and I are respectful, easy going, fun and enjoy adventures out in nature, playgrounds, bike tracks, city parks and family events around town. Our home is situated at the South end of the majestic Waitakere Rangers in a very safe rural coastal village. We are surrounded by forest, bushwalks and hikes, bird-song, beaches and rivers. There is a local café down the road on the beachfront, and we have a school bus for the area. There is no public transport in or out Huia, however, there is a bus stop in the neighboring suburb to witch I can drive you to. Any other transportation you may need, I may be able to provide, but always within reason. Your room is equipped with a desk, a quality comfortable bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The house is cozy and we will share kitchen, bathroom, and lounge areas. We do not have a TV or technological entertainment as such. Features: Warm, dry and insulated home. Tidy and clean family. Shared bathroom, spacious living area and free unlimited WiFi. Beautiful view from the deck. BBQ's during summer time. Loads of boardgames available. Fun and loving family.
Guests can pay cash on arrival or pay by paypal or bank transfer - details can be given upon request. Cancellation Policy: Please provide 3 days/72 hours notice of cancellation before arriving. I am able to do pick-ups from the airport for an additional fee and within reasonable hours. We are respectful towards others and help out around the house where possible. There is no smoking allowed and we would have discussions with each other before inviting visitors and/or planning a gathering or alike. Please tidy and clean up after yourself e.g., do your own dishes, clear away areas once you are done, etc. You are welcome to use the washing machine but please provide your own washing powder/liquid. Please be aware that our cats are friendly indoor pets, and love cuddles and pats. This means they will approach you for attention and maybe a play.

The room has a queen size futon bed, chest of drawers, desk and wardrobe. It is cozy and receives the morning sun. The room is suitable for one or two people.
