Hello! We have 2 rooms available for shorter or long term stays. Our daughter is away at university most of the year so it's myself, my husband, our 17 year old son and our medium sized hypoallergenic dog. We are a busy and relatively quiet family that operates a business so we are at work through the week. Our son plays hockey so that takes up a lot of time throughout that season. In our downtime we do like to enjoy our home and see our friends and family. In past years we have hosted a lot of homestays from all over the world and have some friends still today from this experience! The space is essentially a suite. There is use of a kitchen and laundry between certain hours and a shared bathroom with one other person. We hope to meet you!

House Rules Welcome to our home in North Vancouver. We are happy to have you! Below are a few rules we kindly ask you to follow while you are in our house. Our home is not completely soundproof, so out of respect for others we ask that you respect quiet time from 10pm-8am. Coming and Going Please ensure all windows are closed/locked and lights are off. Please lock the door with the combination provided. Guests Are not allowed without permission. Kitchen Available for use between 8am and 10pm. Please clean up after yourself and wash dishes after each use. All food, spices and otherwise are provided by the guest. We will not provide. Laundry Hours 8am-10pm 1 time per week. Please remember to empty the dryer lint trap before each use. Please do not overload the machine. Laundry detergent will be provided. Bathroom We ask that you keep your showers within the 8am-10pm when possible. Please ensure you run the ceiling fan during your shower and for approximately 5-10 minutes after the shower so the steam is circulated properly and dissipates. Cleaning We ask that you keep your space clean and tidy after each use. Please clean the bathroom 1x per week with the cleaning supplies provided as well as keeping your room regularly dusted and vacuumed. Please ask for instructions if needed. We also ask that if you regularly use the kitchen you clean your dishes after use and keep the counters and floors and kitchen area clean and tidy. Garbage/Recycling We have garbage and recycling collection 1x per week. We will ask you to collect your garbage and bring it upstairs to the bins. We recycle paper, most hard plastics, and aluminum cans. Please ask for more details if you are unclear. Use private entrance Quiet hours between 8am-10pm Shower available between 7am-10pm Laundry available between 8am-9pm Kitchen available between 8am-9pm No additional Guests Homestay clients are responsible for weekly cleaning of their bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. If 2 people are sharing the bathroom and kitchen the duties will be divided weekly.
