THE ROOM: @ 10 x 12 furnished with queen bed, chest of drawers, tall bookcase, writing desk, small refrigerator and a large closet. The window faces East; you can see sunrise, backyards and a slice of downtown. 
 THE FLAT: In the Outer Richmond District 14 blocks from Ocean Beach. It is a well-kept 1925 Eduardian lower flat. 1/2 block to Lincoln Park Golf Course with a breathtakingly beautiful walk along the cliffs to Lands End with view of Golden Gate Bridge and downtown. Legion of Honor, Clement St. stores, restaurants, and Muni are just around the corner. The neighborhood is ethnically mixed, quiet and friendly. 
I AM: a City College student in the Older Adults Program, taking classes in Literature and Writing. I am a politically progressive socialist/democrat. I listen to lots of news radio, tv, and jazz. I mostly go to bed early and read and watch movies etc. I often entertain family and friends. 
 YOU ARE: Any age, sex, ethnicity or sexual preference. You are considerate and live gently. Sorry, no smoking, couples or pets. During your stay, there will be no other paying guests or roommates.

There are no hard and fast rules, just general consideration. I live alone, and although I sometimes have guests, there are no extra Homestay guests permitted.
