You will have your own private room with a beautiful view year-round. It features a queen bed that has the best mattress in the house. Even family members with bad backs have complimented that they had a great night's sleep. If you need to work, there is a spacious desk giving you ample room to conduct business and fast and reliable internet. Inside the room is also a mini-fridge/freezer that we stock with bottled water, and a Keurig with coffee is provided. A complimentary pet bed and food/water bowls for your fur babies are also provided. For clothing storage, the closet has hangers and a small amount of shelves available for use. You'll have access to a full bath (shower & tub) that's on the same floor as your room and a half-bath downstairs across from the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary cooking utensils, pots & pans, silverware, dishes, microwave, spices, etc. The washer and dryer are in the basement with detergent and dryer sheets, along with an iron and ironing board. Pet owners: I also provide pet-sitting services when available for an additional $20 per day/night. We're a veteran family. My husband and I served in the US Navy - both in aviation. We have 2 boys - one in college and the other in high school - and a 4-year-old little girl. We're a pet-friendly home. We have 2 dogs: Harlequin (Harley) is a pit mix and as sweet as they come, and Maggie loves to bark at anyone coming through the door but is also very friendly. We also have a black cat named Garth who is very outgoing and loves to play. We love interacting with our guests and can talk about pretty much anything, but we also respect your privacy so if you like to keep to yourself, we won't take offense and we will be respectful of your wishes.
Full payment is due at the time of booking. You may pay by either Venmo, Cashapp, or credit card. CANCELATION POLICY: Short-term stays (under 30 nights): Full refund if canceled within 24 hours of booking or at least 5 days before check-in. After that, the stay is non-refundable. Long-term stays (30 nights or longer): Full refund if canceled within 48 hours of booking and at least 28 days before check-in. After that, the first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable. CHECK-IN: From 4 pm and later CHECK-OUT: By 12 pm SMOKING POLICY: There is absolutely NO Smoking in our home. You may smoke on the back patio where a butt can will be provided. Vaping and e-cigs are allowed inside. PET OWNERS: We love our furry friends and are delighted to have them stay with you. You're welcome to bring a maximum of 2, and they must be up-to-date on their vaccinations. DOG OWNERS: Please pick up your dog's waste. We have a strict HOA and will be fined for any violations. Bags can be provided if necessary and trash sheds are throughout the neighborhood. Please do not bring dog waste inside. No events, commercial photography, or filming allowed.
