We live in a house in a residential area with friendly neighbors, close to Laval University, Cégep de Ste-Foy and IUCPQ with all services/stores nearby. There are two bikes/pair of snowshoes available (bring your helmet) to get around summer and winter, the neighborhood pool (June to August) is next door = 100 meters.

Welcome home! We are delighted to welcome you. You will be treated a bit like our daughters, who have moved into an apartment with their partners. We assure you of a warm welcome, excellent advice, and maximum family comfort throughout your studies. Each room has its own set of three keys (front door, bedroom, and bathroom (identical) + bike lock). You are free to move around and schedule your own schedule. Only always lock the kitchen door when entering and leaving. Also, take off your shoes when entering, in the sun, rain, snow, winter, fall, etc. (bring a pair of indoor shoes). For everyone's well-being, discretion is essential in the house. Please do not use speakerphones (Tik-tok, Facebook, phone conversations, etc.) during your stay. Please use headphones and keep your calls at a low volume. Do not slam doors, turn off lights or air conditioning, and always turn down the heating (programmable) when you are away. Always lock (hang) your bicycle, dry your umbrella, or shake out your snowshoes upon returning from outside before storing them. Never leave extension cords or phone chargers plugged in unattended in the room or bathroom without any device attached. During your stay, you are responsible for maintaining your room and bathroom. We provide a vacuum cleaner kit and all the necessary products to ensure they are as clean as they were upon arrival. (Never rub with the green side of the sponge.)) We provide you with two complete bedroom and bathroom kits per room (the first one in place when you arrive in your room and bathroom, the other clean one available on shelves) including: 1 mattress protector 2 pillow protectors (clean and new duvets, mattresses, and pillows to be checked during your first change) 1 fitted sheet 1 flat sheet 1 duvet cover --------------------------- 2 large towels 2 small towels 1 shower mat We will provide you with a kit with hand soap, a box of tissues, toilet paper rolls, and toilet deodorizer upon your arrival during the visit. There are three stores within walking distance (IGA, METRO, and WALMART) for your shopping. We therefore do not provide detergent + fabric softener for washing your sheets / towels / clothes and personal effects, nor any shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper / tissues etc (apart from the arrival kit). Communication is very important for the smooth running of our shared accommodation. We are always available via WhatsApp, text, or phone to organize and use the washing machines and kitchen to prepare meals. Leave the washing machine and its soap drawer open to prevent mold. Clean the dryer's lint filter after use. Turn on the dehumidifier when drying your clothes on the clothesline. The kitchen is very welcoming; you can go upstairs to have your breakfast or cook. The trays, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. are easily accessible. Reminder: No frying and no cooking after 9 p.m. (9 a.m.) please. Thank you for participating in the cleanliness effort by leaving the kitchen as you found it, changing the trash bags (black bin/white bag) and food waste bags (gray bin/purple bag), and emptying the recycling (blue bin) as needed.
