Santé Yoga is a British family run business, situated in rural France. It has been created from a passion to connect to like-minded people from all around world. Santé yoga combines teachings and philosophies to support personal growth and development. Taking each person as an individual to share techniques and practices to improve mental and physical health and wellbeing. Our current project is to renovate the property in preparation for tailored retreats beginning in April 2019. Our Philosophy We recognise that we are all unique and on an individual journey. This means that what supports one person may not support another. We have a vast amount of knowledge and experience within the health and fitness industry which we offer to aid guests on their life quest. About the Area Moulin De Chamont is home to Santé Yoga Retreats and is nestled in a peaceful valley surrounded by rolling hills, luscious woodland, smooth roads and crystal-clear streams. There is a beautiful lake approximately 1 mile from our home, which is safe to enjoy a relaxing swim. The closest supermarket is in Chatauneuf le Foret (4 miles) and the closest city is Limoges (20 miles). The Team Language – Our first language is English. However, it is our mission to learn the native tongue and are happy to try to communicate in French until we can’t understand each other. But please give them lots of cuddles as they are very friendly (if you want to). We also have chickens, ducks, goats and cats which we welcome you to say hello to, although we clean them regular they may not always be smelling so fresh. We are working hard to source our own fruit and Vegetable for 2019, all eggs are from our little feathered friends. A basic breakfast is offered as a gift to all guests (Tea, coffee, cereal, fruit, bread, jam, butter) A nutritious vegetarian dinner is available if you book 24 hours prior to your arrival. We start at her drop off point (Mount Gargon) which she parachuted into. At this point we will share a breath-taking yoga class at the peak and continue the historic absorption at Oradour-Sur-Glane. This historic village has been preserved after the massacre on 10 June 1944. Breakfast, lunch and Dinner provided (€100 per person minimum of 2 people) Sunrise Yoga: Choose from a number of magical spots around the area. Breakfast included (€20 per person) French Farm Life Experience: Meet some new furry friends and enjoy lunch by the lake. (€20 per person) Lac de Vassiviere: Yoga on the beach, lunch by the Lake, option to enjoy a huge mass of water or perhaps hike the 26 km route. Respecting Others and the Environment Alcohol: We’re in France, of course its ok to drink! However please be respectful of your consumption to not disturb other guests. Drugs: We have a zero tolerance on drugs, thank you for respecting this decision. Honesty Box: Buy snacks, beers and wine from our honesty shop. Safety of Valuables: We like to work on a trust basis before anything else. All belongings are left in are home at your own risk although we have had no problems to date. Sanitary: Sanitary bins are available in each toilet so please use them, don’t flush them down the toilet as well as nappies and wipes. Smoking: Is permitted away from the main building and garden. Please dispose mindfully. Toiletries: Shampoo and shower gel will be provided. Water usage: One of our aims is to be as environmentally friendly as possible so have fun trying to beat the two-minute timer placed in each shower and remember to turn off the tap whilst brushing your teeth.
