My daughter and I shared the space for five nights while we toured around the Dublin area. Karen is a wonderful, welcoming host. She gave us lots of tips and suggestions, many of which we were able to follow always with good result. The apartment was warm, cosy, clean and comfortable. Lots of extras in the rooms made our stay very easy. Raheny is a beautiful area; a short walk takes you to the Rose Garden and to the seashore. There are lots of amenities such as a grocery store, little shops and good restaurants. Karen also arranged for transit Leap cards ahead of our arrival. The Dart train took us north to Malahide, east to Howth and south to Dun Laoghaire in what seemed like no time at all. I would 100 per cent recommend Karen's place. Linda from London said: Karen was the nicest host we‘ve ever had. Raheny is a cute little town only 10 minutes by train to the centre. The room was clean and offered anything you needed. Karen offered us a small breakfast every morning. On our first day, she showed us Raheny by car, so nice! We will definitely stay at Karen‘s house again the next time we‘re in Dublin. Perfect! Leah from Canada said: Karen was, by far, the nicest person we met in Ireland. Everything was as described and the location is really great for visiting/experiencing a variety of places/attractions. Highly recommend. Victoria from Spain said: I arrived in Ireland on my own, and I couldn't have asked for a better host! The day I got Dublin, Karen was waiting for me at the train station and she gave me a tour around the place in order to show me the supermarket, the pharmacy, the library, the best places to eat and how to get to the closest public transport to get to the city centre. Furthermore, she printed for me some sheets with her contact, emergency phone numbers and the options of public transport to go to and return from the city centre (the fastest and safest ways). Apart from that, before I got Ireland, she even offered me to get a transport card for me so that I can have it when I arrive at her house. Regarding the room, it is spacious and very clean, and it also has a fridge, a microwave and a sandwich maker as well as cutlery and dishes, all you need! It also has a wood-burning stove! It has its own entrance which provides an excellent privacy. Moreover, Karen prepared a light breakfast every morning which completes the perfection of the stay. She is really lovely, and she always helps you with everything she can, making - especially the first hard days - an easier beginning! If I had to book an accommodation again, I would, without doubts, repeat with Karen! Kelsey from Minnesota said: We recently moved to Dublin and stayed with Karen and her family while we looked for an apartment -- we couldn't have asked for a better host! Upon arrival, Karen gave us a tour of her town and showed us the best places to eat and how to get to the closest public transport (this location is only a 10-minute train ride to the city centre!). She even offered to have transport cards waiting for us when we arrived! The room has every amenity we could need - 2 single beds, plenty of storage, a reclining couch, TV, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, wood-burning stove, and our own bathroom. The room has its own entrance which provides excellent privacy. Karen even set out breakfast each morning which was a thoughtful added touch. Karen's overall kindness made us feel so welcome and right at home. She truly helped make our transition to Dublin so much easier! We HIGHLY recommend staying with Karen if you get the chance!
