“The Horton Place”, an Ulrik Plesner designed home, situated in Colombo’s most chic neighborhood. It is a modern and artsy accommodation in the heart of Colombo, and offers 4 fully serviced, en-suite bedrooms, each on a bed and breakfast basis. The property is complete with all amenities including Wi-Fi, complimentary drinking water, tea making facility, TV, hot water, access to the lounge and pantry. About the Room - The Master Room is a modern and comfortable room on the first floor of The Horton Place – a recently remodeled house. The room has access to free WiFi and is being offered on a bed and breakfast basis. Meals - Breakfast is included in the room rate, and can be either Continental or a traditional Sri Lankan meal. We could also turn out a meal for lunch or dinner if the guest requests us to at a nominal charge. We provide complimentary water in your room. Check-in time - Check-in time: 11:00 AM (We would be happy to accommodate early arrivals at 7:00 AM. However, any arrivals earlier than 7:00 AM will be charged 50% of room the charges. All stated above will be subject to room availability only) Check-out time: 01:00 PM We will correspond with the guests to request them for their time of arrival and departure and will inform them if another guest is staying prior to or arriving straight after, so as to coordinate the timings of both sets of guests. Linen and cleaning - We provide fresh linen and towels for all guests. We clean the room and bathroom everyday and will change linen and towels every 3 days too for long term guests. Laundry - Laundry service will be provided for long-term guests at a nominal charge. Internet - Wi-fi is available free of cost Value added services - Your hosts will be happy to help you plan your excursions in and out of Colombo/ Travel around Sri Lanka. The following services can be arranged on advance request. (Payments can be settled directly to service provider) * Airport pick/drop - Approximately USD 25 (LKR 2500 for the car + LKR 300 for the highway) * A Taxi/Tuk-tuk with a meter can be arranged to pick the guest up from Colpetty House and take the guest to any required destination.
