We have a large room to rent in our colourful house. You will be sharing the house with myself (Gabrielle, EAL teacher) and my two daughters (10 and 12). We have a large garden and outdoor areas to relax in. We also have some pets ( 2 rabbits, 2 fish, a budgie and some chickens) so perfect for animal lovers. I have travelled a lot and work with people who are new to Australia. I only work part time so am home a lot too. I am a qualified EAL teacher and am happy to do some private lessons for a negotiated cost.
Not too many rules - just basic respectful behaviour. You are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare your own food, but please clean up after yourself. We are environmentally conscious and encourage you to use our waste systems (compost, recycling etc) and to be mindful of energy use e.g. do not leave the heater on overnight or when you are not home. You will be sharing the house with children who go to bed around 8.30pm so please keep noise at a minimum after that time.
