Welcome to my little paradise. An eco-friendly, self-contained, and unique home on a plot of land with incredible energy. As the sole occupant of the property, I welcome you from December to March. I work from home (on site at least part of the day). There are no fixed rules regarding our cohabitation, just authenticity: the house has two independent private spaces, so if you need peace and quiet, you'll have it. If things flow naturally, I'll gladly share moments with you (at home or away). You're under no obligation: enjoy your vacation exactly as you see fit, benefiting from a perfectly unique place to live.

My geoconcrete house overlooks a plot of land with century-old trees. Designed by me and built with great love, it's a place I love, and I want my guests to take as much care of it as if it were their own. The house is SELF-CONTAINED. Electricity consumption is strictly regulated (no appliances exceeding 300 watts: if in doubt about the equipment supported, contact me!). It is minimalist but fully equipped, and is located in a "glamping" (luxury camping) setting. It offers a level of comfort, privacy, and environment far superior to most campsites in the area, while remaining down-to-earth in many ways. The house is far from the smells, noise, and crowds of Cape Town, and the loudspeakers of mosques, on a plot of land rich in energy. You'll choose this accommodation over others partly for the house, and partly for the environment. The house has two completely independent bedrooms measuring over 30m², both with a 140x190cm double bed fitted with mosquito nets. The ground floor bedroom opens onto the open kitchen with a view of the garden, known as the winter bedroom. This well-insulated room is cool during the day and warm at night. It will be the perfect choice for those who are sensitive to the cold. The upstairs bedroom offers a spectacular view of the bolong. Known as the summer bedroom, it is completely open to the outdoors and offers direct contact with the surrounding nature. It will delight outdoor lovers. A large shared living room, opening onto the garden, serves as a living room, dining room, and kitchen. There is a shared bathroom with a shower and sink.No water heater (but the water is good during the day; there's a solar shower available if it's not enough, or a pot of hot water for desperate cases (I'm one of them from time to time). The composting toilets are outside the house, to be managed independently (compost at the bottom of the garden). The garden is vast, and you can hang a hammock between the palm trees or roll out your yoga mat under a mango tree... The rules of my nest: - No visitors - Smoking is not allowed in the bedrooms but is no problem in the living room, which is open to the garden and exposed to all winds. Cigarette butts go in an ashtray, and an ashtray empties into the trash. There's no filter in my soil (uncompromising on this point). - Love and respect for all living things are imperative. The house is open to the outdoors: we share it with other local species. Your pets and animals in general are welcome.A certain number already live on the property year-round (they have wings, two or more legs, sometimes none at all). There's movement :) We often find frogs in the house. Oh, yes: arachnophobes and entomophobes, refrain. Ophiophobes too (it's not the season, but better to be safe than sorry). Convenience stores are a 10-minute walk away, bars are 15 minutes away, and the road to Cape Town or Diembéring is a 20-minute walk away by shared taxi (private taxis will pick you up at the house).
