HOUSE RULES: **Please make sure you read the listing in its entirety** **OVERVIEW: Look, we hate having to lay out rules as much as you hate having to follow them. So we've identified the things that are REALLY important to us so please read them and be respectful of our needs so we can be great hosts for you. ** ADDITIONAL FEE: - Cleaning per stay $50 - Use of Laundry and supplies $10 per load 1. We expect you will respect our home. Please turn off lights and fans if you are leaving a room. 2. Check out is at 11 am. 3. If you have a car, you must park on the street facing the direction of traffic. 4. Please do not wear outside shoes in the bedroom. You may store them at the front foyer or by your room. Also, picking up after yourself in common areas is important. 5. NO EATING OR DRINKING IN YOUR ROOM: If you intend to eat at home, please sit down in the kitchen, dining room, or on the back porch instead of eating in your room. Water can be had anywhere in the house. Please use coasters for all drinks. 6. Absolutely NO unregistered guests without prior approval. 7. Absolutely NO drugs of any kind or firearms- alcohol is OK. 8. Absolutely NO smoking or Vaping in the house or patio and if you do smoke outside, please be courteous and clean up your butts/ash. 9. We do not allow any animals in the house. 10. Please always lock the front door and your car when you leave and be courteous to the neighbors. 11. If anything breaks, spills, stains, etc. please let me know ASAP. 12. Unreturned and/or lost house keys will be charged a $50 replacement fee. 13. Quiet Hours 11pm - 8 am 14. Any damage to the property, furniture, linens and towels, etc. will be assessed and charged accordingly 15. LAUNDRY: If your stay is longer than 5 day and you need to do laundry, there is a fee of $10 per load (1 wash and 1 dry cycle) with use of detergent and dryer sheet. Fee must be paid upfront. 16. Help yourself to the kitchen cookware, spices and serve ware. You must provide your own food. 17. COOKING: If you are planning on cooking, please use and clean the pots and pans appropriately and cook with the black rubber cooking utensils. Do not place hot cookware on the outside patio or placemats. Finally, please do not eat directly out of the cookware. 18. TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENTS: If you are hot or cold, please ask us to adjust the air rather than adjusting it yourself. You have an adjustable overhead fan in your room for your personal comfort. 19. LEAVE BEHIND WHAT YOU DON'T USE: We'll do our best to anticipate what you may need by way of extra towels, blankets or such. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap are available while you are staying with us along with some other spiffs and we expect you to leave behind what you don't use during your stay. If you don't see what you need, please ask. 19. NO ENTERTAINING: We are perfectly happy having people pop by to pick up our guests, but we would prefer that you not use our home to entertain them. We would be happy to help you find other places to spend time with your family and friends, for example working out details to pack a picnic to take to the Gardens or making a dinner reservation. 20.
